The 7th of April marked the international day of the beaver and at the opportunity, we organised an international discussion titled »Beaver Management Challenges«. A total of 36 participants from eight different countries attended: Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia and Hercegovina, Germany, United Kingdom, Netherlands and Norway. Researches presented the state of the beaver in each of their own countries. An interesting discussion on beaver management followed afterwards where the participants shared their own insight on good and bad management practice.
