On Monday, March 25th, we went again to the Center for Biotechnology and Tourism in Grm at Novo mesto. We prepared a lecture on the beaver – an ecosystem engineer for college students and students majoring in nature conservation. This time there were 46 pupils, 3 students and 4 professors. Since the weather was favorable, we first went for a walk to Lešnica, where students could take a closer look at traces of beaver activity. Fortunately, the beaver dam and beaver lodge were intact. After the field trip, we went back to the classroom and devoted ourselves to the lecture.
