We compared beaver interventions in watercourses with human interventions and found that we do much more damage to riparian vegetation and watercourses than beavers.<\/p>\n\n<p>The lecture was organized by the group for the revitalization of the Pesnica River, Live River Pesnica, and the Young Nature Explorers of Slovenske Gorice-Benedikt.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On Friday, March 22nd, 2024, at the Multigenerational Center Benedikt in Slovenske Gorice, we introduced the beaver to the locals as a key species of aquatic environments.
