{"id":9422,"date":"2024-03-20T11:25:58","date_gmt":"2024-03-20T10:25:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/life-beaver.eu\/reading-hours-in-the-skocjan-library\/"},"modified":"2024-04-02T20:19:32","modified_gmt":"2024-04-02T19:19:32","slug":"reading-hours-in-the-skocjan-library","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/life-beaver.eu\/en\/reading-hours-in-the-skocjan-library\/","title":{"rendered":"Reading hours at the \u0160kocjan library"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Yesterday, on March 19th, 2024, we successfully held a reading hour with Zala and the \u0160kocjan library.<\/p>\n\n<p>We read the fairy tale The Busy Beaver by Nicholas Oldland, which is also the winning picture book of 2012 as chosen by the Canadian Children&#8217;s Book Centre.<\/p>\n\n<p>Then we met Europe&#8217;s largest rodent. The children could see a real (stuffed) beaver and peek into our Beaver Box: they touched the beaver fur and paw prints, smelled the castoreum and took a look at the gnawed branches.
