In Croatia, LIFE Beaver partners organized an art and photo competition with an aim to present beaver to primary school pupils. Marijan Grubešić, professor from the Zagreb Faculty of Forestry and Wood Technology visited Podturen primary school in Međimurje and Visoko primary school in Varaždin county to present beaver to the pupils.
All the children who participated in the project competition got an acknowledgement and the best photos and art works were given a reward.
