Wood and wood products fascinate not only people, but also beavers. That’s why this year, for the first time, it joined the unique design exhibition Čar lesa (Charm of Wood), which travels around Slovenia until late autumn, with his artworks.
Currently (up to Sunday, June 2nd, 2024), the exhibition is on display in the Arboretum Volčji potok.
The Charm of Wood 2024 exhibition program in Slovenia:

- Semič, Cultural Center Semič: from 4th to 26th June 2024 – opening on 5th June 2024 at 10 a.m.
- Sodražica, hall of the Ivan Prijatelj Primary School in Sodražica: from June 28th to July 21st, 2024
- Murska Sobota, Expano pavilion: from July 23rd to September 3rd, 2024
- Laško, Laško Museum: from September 5th to 25th, 2024
- Pivka, Krpanov dom Pivka: from September 27th to October 15th, 2024
- Nova Gorica, hall of the Municipality of N. Gorica: from October 17th to November 12th, 2024

With the aim of promoting wood processing and the use of wood products, the Slovenian Wood Protection Association and the Wood Council have been organizing the exhibition for 16 years. The ideological leader is emeritus prof. dr. Franc Pohleven, a long-time lecturer at the Department for Wood Science and Technology, Faculty of Biotechnology.
